Your data is yours. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you keep over it.

What we collect

Your email address, which is how you sign in, along with your name, country and address. Your mobile number if you give us one, which is a contact detail rather than a way of logging in. The messages you exchange with your assistant, and the information your assistant handles while completing tasks you've asked for (for example, a booking confirmation or an email it sends for you).

How you sign in

We email you a single-use code that expires in ten minutes. There is no password to store and no text messages. If you connect WhatsApp or Telegram, that confirms your mobile number for us, so there is no separate verification step.

Why we collect it

Solely to provide the service: to remember your preferences, complete your tasks, and improve your own assistant's usefulness to you. We do not sell your data, and it is never used to train models for anyone else.

Where your data lives

Data is stored based on your account location. Data for US accounts is stored and processed in the United States under applicable US federal and state law. Data for accounts in the European Union or United Kingdom is stored in the region and processed in accordance with the GDPR or UK GDPR where those laws apply. When a task requires a third-party service (for example, a restaurant's booking system), only the information needed for that task is shared with it.

Your rights

Everyone can download or delete their data at any time, directly from their assistant. Just ask it. If you live in California or another US state with a consumer privacy law, you also have the rights that law provides, including access, deletion, correction, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. If you are in the EU or UK, you have the rights the GDPR provides, including access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you leave, it's deleted within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep specific records longer.

Children

Wis.ai is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
